Totally right not to put stock in Pep Claros' comments, but like the expert in the video you linked earlier this week I'd love to see an overhaul of FIBA's naturalization rules: Go in line with FIFA so guys with heritage OR guys who have lived and worked in one place for a long time can play (and others generally can't).
I'd also change the WCQ and even World Cup format. Right now, there are too many games to keep track of at too many times. Games on one day now matter for the actual tournament while games the next matter for something a year+ from now? First group stage stuff carries over to second group?
Give me the stuff that matters, get me geared up for it and let's enjoy watching best vs. best.
