One note about last night’s later game: as someone who’s struggled with tolerating Reggie Miller over the years, adding Candace Parker made him 1000% more enjoyable; they really have a great rapport and her pushing back or elaborating on the half-baked or silly things he says makes it work. It’s kind of amazing how much a good crew can help make a game more fun (or as in the early game, less fun)
I thought the framing of the Harden situation as being Morey's fault was askew. It is most certainly Morey's problem, but not wanting to hand over a valuable asset for a far-below-market return is perfectly sensible. I'm pro-labor every day of the week, and never for any reason on the weekend, but he's running a business, and you don't trade a used Maserati for a couple of bicycles and the future rights to more bicycles.
Continuing with the transportation theme, I'm with Kevin Harlan all the way about blimps. To hell with the humanity.
Harden’s probably not lying, but I assume that none of us is privy to his conversation with Morey. Perhaps Morey made a promise he couldn’t keep. But perhaps he promised to trade him but didn’t clarify that he needed a decent return, because he thought that Harden as a mature adult would have understood that. I’m not trying to be a Morey apologist, but this could well have been a misunderstanding fueled by Harden’s excessive sense of entitlement and his delusional belief that he’s still a max player.

agree that it’s definitely Morey’s problem, and, pending how much truth there is in Harden’s claims from the summer, it might be his fault, too!
unless Harden is fully lying, Morey broke at least one very significant promise.

Does my household need another coffee mug? Hmm, probably not. Is my household getting another coffee mug? Oh heck yeah!
The same thought went through my mind, as well!
15 oz. mug for the win. Cheers!
Perfect title. 10/10. No notes
Count me in for a sticker, Tom. Need to get that 2024 planner decorated!
