The Cavaliers are nigh unstoppable
PLUS: Giannis has moved onto the "feuding with the reigning champs" portion of the season and the Mavericks lose two playoff-intensity games. Plus plus, the injury bug struck hard.
Good morning. Let’s basketball.

The Weekend The Doctors Took Over
What in the hell just happened?
Kevin Durant will miss at least two weeks with a calf strain.
Ja Morant is “week-to-week” with a hip injury.
Zion Williamson is out indefinitely due to a hamstring problem.
Anthony Davis left the Lakers’ Sunday game with an eye injury.
Chet Holmgren will be evaluated in 8-10 weeks after a pelvic fracture suffered in Sunday’s game. A pelvic fracture! I’m not sure he’s back this season if we’re being honest.
I don’t like any of this.
Scores
Friday
Hawks 121, Pistons 122 — Cade Cunningham with a very difficult go-ahead lefty lay-up followed by a game-saving block. This was also his third straight triple-double.
Let’s go Pistons.
Suns 114, Mavericks 113 — Playoff intensity. Jusuf Nurkic takeover!
Bucks 94, Knicks 116 — The Bucks have lost with Andre Jackson Jr. starting. The fix that wasn’t.
Warriors 117, Cavaliers 136 — One of the more incredible offensive performances I’ve ever seen in the first half here. The Cavaliers dropped 83 points on the No. 2 defense … and didn’t even make crazy shots, really. They just found ways to get open consistently: transition, penetration, creative plays. They went backdoor on freaking Draymond Green consistently. Just an amazing performance that made me 15% more of a believer in this team.
Nets 104, Celtics 108 — Jayson Tatum is the early frontrunner for MVP.
Wizards 104, Grizzlies 128 — Yuki time.
