Basketball nirvana. There have been times throughout these Olympics when the US has so overmatched their competition that I was laughing about it, like opponents having to wait out the starting lineup to get to the Edwards/Durant/Davis/Bam/White bench unit. Yet to see this collection of legends *actually* pushed, as they will be in every Olympics now no matter how good the roster, raises the stakes to such an immensely satisfying degree. To see LBJ, Steph, Embiid and KD dig deep and pull out that win is what we hope from an All-Star game but of course will never get because there are zero stakes, even when it's close and the action gets a little frisky down the stretch.

Also: Jokic + shooters is a very workable formula for winning basketball games.
