We watch closely every year how players respond to All-Star snubs, both on and off the court. There’s annoyance, there’s graciousness, there’s often big individual performances, there’s sometimes heartbreak, there’s sometimes pettiness.
We don’t often get to watch how players respond to All-NBA snubs, because by the time that award’s announced, almost the entire league has been eliminated and is in Cancun or getting booed off of the TNT set or is flirting with their potential new NBA markets.
Jaylen Brown is a special case. His team is of course still alive, and he in fact got snubbed from All-NBA.
