He would never do this because he’s too good of a human, but if I were Jrue I would tweet out a video of the parade Milwaukie threw for Dame in the offseason!! lol
Excellent work as always! Loved the newsletter all year, hope you get some off season rest!
Luka is a superstar on offense and although his defense has improved he’s still a liability guarding top talent. Quick guys go around him almost at will if he tries to contest their shot and if he plays hard he’s in automatic foul trouble.
He’s certainly still a plus player but with poor defense not a superstar. Grant Hill and Steve Kerr may pay the price this year in Paris for picking a team of offensive superstars…with only a few exceptions 3 of which are coming off injuries or almost 40.
That wasn't the process. That was the Colangelos that the NBA forced the Sixers owners to hire. And the sixers never could have drafted Jayson. Ainge only trades that pick knowing Colangelo is taking Fultz.
Hi, sixers fan here. We were way more traumatized about the rebuild getting short-circuited by the league office (re: Colangelos) and then watching other teams do the exact same thing with no repercussions(re: Sam Presti). Imagine Sam Presti needing two Colangelos to co-sign every decision. The sixers finally have a good GM, a good coach and cap space in the same offseason. We're happier than we've been in a long time.
Thanks for an awesome season, Tom. I got off Twitter in January, so it was delightful and fresh to have this newsletter as a major source of NBA news because you keep things positive and keep a nice overall view of the league. Worth the subscription every season!
This is my favorite basketball newsletter by a mile. Great writing!
Dunkin' Robinson!!!!
"Dunkin' Robinson" is my one and only love letter to Boston.
As someone currently drinking a Dunkin' iced coffee...we'll take it!
take a bow, zill

Thank you for a fantastic season Tom! (even with that soul-rending Sixers history recap)

Wonderful newsletter today and all year. One of my only must reads ever morning. Enjoy some much deserved down time.
I can finally forgive Danny Ainge for trading Desmond Bane. And let's thank the Process for gifting the Celtics Jaylen and Jayson.

Like you AND respect you. Dunk that Robinson in your pipe and smoke it. Go C's!
An amazing season of writing by a great guy, thanks for it all Tom! Also lmao to seeing the words “Thon Maker” on my phone screen in 2024
(Please like me, though. I starve for positive acknowledgement.)
Of course I like you, my guy!
Keep up the good work
