Good morning. Let’s basketball.
Get Me a Doctor!
The Bucks did indeed hire Doc Rivers as their new head coach. CNN Sport i vindicated! Doc will now have been a head coach for all or part of an NBA season for 25 straight years, with five different teams, with two partial season breaks to broadcast. Amazing.
Mike Breen’s bit on Doc’s decision was hilarious.
One presumes that despite the schedule getting tougher, there are certain things Doc will implement in the coming weeks that will make real, positive changes for the Bucks as it pertains to their odds of beating other top contenders in the East. One also presumes that the moods in Milwaukee, which have frankly been a little weird all season, will improve.
To wit, from the pregame against Cleveland:
Scores
Timberwolves 118, Wizards 107 — Washington kept the game reasonably close, but Anthony Edwards dropped 38, including 15 in the fourth.
Marvin Bagley check? 17 and 15 in 26 minutes, 7/8 from the floor.
